Exploring the aesthetics of articial looking landscapes introduced in an natural enviroment, inhabited by polygonal animals reponding to organic behaviours. Work in progress.

There are 2800 flocking boids, simulated by segmenting the calculations into parallel processing threads. For the visuals, several real time effects are used, like screen space ambient occlusion (adapted from ofxSSAO by Lars Berg), depth of field (adapted from depth of field by Martins Upitis) and light scattering (from light scaterring by Fabien Sanglard).
